Anderson Point Park lured us in with these adorable bird houses by the entrance sign, but ended up providing so much more!
There’s not much that this park doesn’t have.
Paved walkways? Check.
Access to other paved greenways? Check.
Large fields to run and play? Check.
A good amount of parking? Check.
A beautiful scenic bridge overlook along the Neuse River Trail? Check.
Small secluded nooks to sit and enjoy nature? Check.
And for when things normalize a little bit with COVID-19: playground, pavilions with grills, and bathrooms? Check, check, check.
After our visit, we feel like this park is truly a gem in the @raleighparks system. Have you made it to Anderson Point? Let us know your favorite part of the park in the comments!
