Flowers at the NC Museum of Art Park - Raleigh, NC

If you are missing the Dix Park sunflowers this summer like we are, then you absolutely need to check out the beautiful field of sunflowers and wildflowers at North Carolina Museum of Art’s Ann & Jim Goodnight Museum Park in Raleigh. Dare we say we enjoy this a bit more than the Dix Park field because of all the amazing colors of the other flowers. 🤭 Check out our Instastories for some videos from our visit. The scenery was so beautiful and it was tough to stop snapping a million photos and videos.

We went early in the morning around 8:00am and it was totally worth getting out then because there were very few people at the park and the temps, while not “cool”, were much cooler than you find even at 9 or 10am these days.

Finding the flowers was very easy. Enter the park at the Ellipse, then take the walkway past the 3 large arches and you’ll see the flowers just ahead of you. It takes no more than 5 minutes from the parking lot to get to the flowers.
