Downtown Dinos - Raleigh, NC

Writer: PeterPeter

Have you heard that the Triangle has been invaded by 3 friendly dinos? 🦖 RAWR!

Thanks to the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, you can see these green, fuzzy topiaries as you walk the streets of Downtown Raleigh. Each topiary has a plaque with information about it, including a bit of its unique personality. Here are the names of the 3 and the specific cross streets where each can be found:

• Trish the Triceratops is at the corner of Morgan Street and Fayetteville Street.

• Bex the T. Rex is at the corner of S Blount Street and E Hargett Street, right by the entrance to Marbles, and specifically in the northwest corner of Moore Square.

• Pterry the Pterodactyl is on S Wilmington Street at Exchange Plaza (between Hargett Street and Martin Street).

Just a reminder that a lot of the parking options downtown are metered parking, so just double check the signage and pay the meter if necessary.

There’s plenty to do downtown, and visiting one or all of these topiaries is a fun add-on to whatever your plans may be.
