Y'all, it is ALWAYS a struggle to pick only 10 photos to share with you out of the amazing selection of work that is the Sculpture in the Garden exhibit at the NC Botanical Garden every year. It's even tough to pick which one is going to be the first photo because there are SO MANY good ones.
This is the 35th year of the exhibit, and it's a year you definitely don't want to miss. From now until December 3, you can walk around NC Botanical Garden and take in amazing art from over 50 artists, many of whom are local, placed throughout the property. Keep an eye out, because some pieces are a little hidden.
And did we mention this is all free?! (Donations are accepted, but not required.)
Just a few logistics about the NC Botanical Garden:
• Closed Mondays and only open in the afternoon on Sundays
• There is a fair amount of parking, but not a ton. The earlier you can arrive, the better.
• While most of the garden is not paved, a large portion of it is hard-packed enough that you can take a stroller through. We have and it was fine.
• The visitor center is great, has air conditioning, bathrooms, and a mother's room.
• Bathrooms are also available at one other location in the garden.
This is our 4th year going and it has been so neat to see the work over the years, especially from artists especially from artists who contribute every year.
