We’re happy to report that the yetis are back at JC Raulston Arboretum for another year of scavenger hunts in the gardens! And similar to last year, the yetis are guarding a treasure box, and all who find them are permitted to take 1 treasure from the box.
The yetis are moved to a different location every Friday until the end of event, February 4th. (The picture of them here was taken yesterday, so we’re not divulging any secrets because they should be in a new location today.)
And even though we’re in winter, there is still plenty of beautiful plants, and even blooms, to discover in the garden. We always find something new every visit, and for us this time it was a few citrus trees! We also enjoy taking some winter photos now and then comparing them with how the same spots look in the spring and summer.
Also, I have to admit that we had a little trouble finding the yetis this year - BUT it was our own fault, though, because they did end up being fairly out in the open. We had actually walked right past them. 🙈 That being said, if you have searched and can’t find them, you can be like us and go to the Ruby C. McSwain Education Center for a hint.
And finally, we noticed they have a StoryWalk up as well, so don’t miss out on that!
Have you been to find the yetis at Raulston Arboretum? Let us know in the comments!
